Academies

The 7 Generations Behavioral Health Center of Excellence hosts Leadership and Policy Academies for tribal behavioral health professionals. The goal of the academies is to increase the number and capacity of tribal behavioral health leaders advocating for infrastructure and policy change aimed at improving services and outcomes for tribal community members.

National Leadership Academy

Each year, the 7 Generations Behavioral Health Center of Excellence convenes a National Leadership Academy for emerging and seasoned leaders in the tribal behavioral health field. The content areas of priority are determined by the CoE’s National Steering Council.  Program participants will gain knowledge, skills, and professional development experience through fundamental elements and core values that comprise our Leadership Model (See figure 1).
